The most useful things to send

• A number that looks wrong. The most valuable mail we get. Include the page, and the source that contradicts us if you have one — we would rather pull a claim than defend it.
• A product we do not cover. We track 670 and there are obvious gaps. Tell us what you looked up and could not find.
• A page that will not load, or an answer that makes no sense.
• Press, licensing, or a question about our sourcing. The method is written up in our editorial policy.

What we cannot answer

We cannot tell you whether the specific item in your fridge is safe to eat. We cannot see it, we do not know how it has been stored, and getting that wrong has real consequences. The page for your product shows what the published guidance says and what spoilage looks like — the judgement is yours.
